I've been researching on Pvx and found a "Gates of Kryta Farmer" build. I have ran short on gold so thought I would try it out. Thing is, I do not own Nightfall or Factions so I would not be able to obtain certain skills.

I cannot obtain Stone Striker, Stoneflesh Aura and Sliver Armor.
I found that Sliver Armor's 'related skill' would be Whirling defense. I have that and intend on using it.

But my question for you guys is.. what would be an alternative to Stone Striker and Stoneflesh Aura (knowing that the only two campaigns I have are Prophecies/EOTN)

From what I can see, Stone Striker is there to convert physical damage to Earth in order to trigger the +30AL vs. elemental damage on your armor. Anything else that does this will work (Only thing I can think of is Greater conflagration, but thats elite).

Stoneflesh is probably essential, though you might be able to use a block stance instead (though your energy management (storm chaser) won't work, as they are both stances).

Whirling Defense is a pathetic replacement for Sliver. Sliver will deal WAY more damage; it does 3x as much damage per trigger and triggers on melee attacks as well as spells in addition to just projectiles like WD.

Don't think this is going to work.

I honestly don't think it would work,especially not nearly aswell,without stone striker,stoneflesh and especially not without sliver.A better alternative would be mark of pain nuking with whilring def...not sure what skills that needs though.

This farm build is clever idea, you can't easily replace skills and expect it to work. Stone Striker is for +30Al and to triger Storm Chaser for a lots of energy. You can convert damage to elemental by nature ritual spirits (Winter, Greater Conflagration) but it will not work because they are fixed to one place. Therefore without Stone Striker this build has no sense.

Other damage reduction skills other Stoneflesh Aura could be Shielding Hands or Shield of Absorption. Source of energy could be Balthazar's Spirit and/or Essence Bond. Therefore, you can try some variant of 600 R/Mo using skills:
Shield of Absorption
Spirit Bond
Protective Spirit
Blessed Aura
Balthazar's Spirit and/or Essence Bond
+ 20% ench. mod and as low armor as you can get
Now, you can either
1) try to do this for solo farm and add skills to do damage (with or without Melandru's Resiliance). But I don't see how to do enough damage. If you use only Protection Prayers for damage than better use Mo/?
2) you can make pure 600 ranger tank (adding Melandru's Resiliance + Vital Blessing) and find parthner to do damage (common is Mo smiter or Me/Mo SoI smiter or SS necro).

Thanks for the replies. I guess I'm going to have to just switch back to R/Mo then since I had better farming experiences that way. I really just don't see myself buying two campaigns for two skills so I guess I'll stick to trapping & running people for gold \:
